PayPal Compatibility and Troubleshooting Tips

Non-U.S. Applicants

If your browser reported an error when you tried to Submit a form:

CMNC's web forms and their control files are updated frequently, but your browser's cache may retain an outdated copy if you have previously looked at the form.

Look at the bottom of the form.  If you see a date, it should be November 2006 or later.

To clear your browser's cache and make your browser use the current file, first close CMNC web pages.

Novice Tips

Using your keyboard,

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can rotate that to scroll the screen.

If nothing happens when you try these controls, click in a blank area of this page and try again.

The examples below (except for Submit) will behave correctly, but are not saved.

Sometimes answers are Required*.
We've indicated these items in bold and with asterisks.
Click inside the text box below and type your name.

Name*

Often the text box will accept more letters than the visible size of the box.

Short text box

The round buttons are called "option or radio buttons" because they function like a car radio's station selector buttons: only the one you click on (push) is chosen. Any other choice is de-selected (pops out).

If you press the cursor arrow keys on your keyboard, you may change the selection without realizing it (try it). Click outside the buttons to end this behavior.

Check boxes are similar to printed ones: a check is a positive response. Each time you click, it turns the check mark on or off.

One square check box selection does not affect another.
I am a musician.
I like concerts
I practice every day

The drop-down list box allows us to present all of the choices, and you to select from them. Click on the rectangle or the arrow on its right, then click on your selection.

Click outside the selection area once you've made your choice, otherwise the cursor arrow keys or the mouse scroll wheel could alter your selection (try them to see this side effect).

Sometimes your answer requires a lot of space, so a text area is provided.
Click in the box, type your life story (just kidding - conciseness is appreciated), and click outside the box when you are done.

For non-U.S. applicants: we welcome your application, although our forms are set up for U.S. phone numbers, zip codes, etc. If you do not have U.S. contact information, please place a 0 [zero] in those required text boxes and enter your information in the Preferences or Comments text area in the form. Thank you.

PayPal

You will be asked to pay online with PayPal, a secure online payment service which accepts a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card, or a Discover or American Express credit card.

Troubleshooting tips:

Note: clicking this example button will take you to the PayPal web site, but will not initiate a Shopping Cart.

If you do not see a PayPal Add To Cart button just above this line, your browser may not be set up for PayPal use:

When you are ready to submit your real application, click on the real Submit button.

Under some circumstances, pressing the Enter key (on your keyboard) might cause your form to be submitted prematurely. If this happens, click your browser's "Back button". Usually your responses will still be there, if you have not clicked on a link.

Locate that "Back button" (usually in the gray area near the top left of your screen, under the menus) and click it now, to go back to the page you came from.

You may click the links below, but you might lose any data you entered into a form.

Look at CMNC's Links Page for PC software that helps you fill forms.
